Legacy Through Film at the BFI
On Wednesday, our A Level Spanish group attended a study day at the BFI dedicated to exploring the life and legacy of Federico García Lorca. Designed to support their Paper 3 essay, the session deepened their understanding of Lorca’s work through a blend of clips, discussion and historical context. The highlight of the day was the screening of Camus’s 1987 adaptation of ‘The House of Bernarda Alba ‘ that our students have read in class, bringing the play to life on screen.
