Harry Potter Studio Tour to Explore Creative Careers

On Monday 26th January, the Art and Drama Departments took 50 Year 8 and 9 pupils on a truly unforgettable trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.

As part of a special Creative Careers workshop, pupils enjoyed exclusive access to iconic props, costumes and set models -  from Harry’s birthday cake to Gringotts goblin hands and even Hagrid’s enormous trousers! The session gave pupils a fascinating insight into careers across the film and creative industries and left them buzzing with inspiration.

The studio tour itself was pure magic: exploring the Great Hall, braving the Forbidden Forest, visiting Dumbledore’s office, flying on broomsticks, tasting Butterbeer and escaping the dragon at Gringotts - a spellbinding day from start to finish.
