¡Barcelona: simplemente la mejor!

Early in February, we enjoyed an incredible Spanish trip to Barcelona with pupils from Years 9,10 and 11. It was an unforgettable experience and a fantastic opportunity to bring language learning and cultural exploration to life. Our 40 pupils embraced a busy itinerary packed with culture, history, and plenty of walking as they explored this vibrant city.

Throughout the visit, pupils immersed themselves in the city, exploring its streets, landmarks and vibrant atmosphere. Highlights included a visit to Poble Espanyol, where pupils discovered the architectural diversity of Spain, as well as a hands-on mosaic workshop inspired by Catalan art. Pupils also took part in an engaging tapas lesson, learning food-related vocabulary while sampling traditional dishes.
