Artist of the Week

Year 10 are exploring the theme of ‘Order and Disorder’. Here is Abigail DJ's completed painting which is an incredibly accomplished piece. After exploring the work of Lucien Freud, his processes, use of brushstrokes and the subject and poses he explored, Abigail has responded using acrylic paint in a skilful and mature way. Working from her own photographs, Abigail has really captured a sense of fear and unease, using lighting to enhance the atmosphere. I look forward to seeing what she creates next. Well done!
