Volcanoes, Glaciers and Geysers: Iceland 2026
Our Year 12 and 13 geographers recently returned from an unforgettable five-day adventure in Iceland!
From standing between two tectonic plates at the Bridge Between Continents to exploring glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls and geothermal landscapes, students experienced some of Iceland’s most spectacular natural wonders first-hand.
Highlights included Sólheimajökull Glacier, Reynisfjara’s famous black sand beach, the Golden Circle, Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir and a tour of Reykjavík.
A huge well done to all the students, who were a credit to themselves and the school throughout the trip, and thank you to the staff who helped make this incredible experience possible.
