Urban and Rural Regeneration

Year 12 Geographers study ‘Urban and Rural Regeneration’ as part of their A Level course. Whilst at Battersea Power Station, students visited the museum and carried out a range of geographical fieldwork techniques to assess the impact of the development and trial valuable skills in preparation for the Non Examined Assessment (coursework). The results of the research and the visit itself provided them with useful discussions about the impact of regeneration on our community spaces. Opinion was divided as to whether Battersea Power Station can be deemed ‘successful’.
