Student Bands Strike a Chord at the Clapham Grand!

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible success of several of our talented pupil and student musicians who performed at the Clapham Grand on Monday night in Wandsworth Borough Council’s Rock the Grand competition.

The Badgers, featuring Year 13 students Abi B-D, Seb RF, Oscar F and Felix F, alongside former student Anthony G, won first prize. Their performance was outstanding and truly set them apart, earning them a very well-deserved victory.

Equally impressive, EDC - made up of Year 11 pupils Ethan D and Caleb D with former student Daniel R - were named runners-up, a fantastic achievement in a competition filled with brilliant bands.

The evening also began with superb performances from Spree, (featuring Adam B, Bertie D, Seb R and former student Daniel R), while Jackie W took to the stage with her band, The Maltesers, performing alongside students from Burntwood and Wandsworth Music.
