Spanish Study Day Exploring the Legacy of Dictatorships

Sixth Form Spanish students recently attended the ‘Trauma and Memory: Filming the Legacy of Dictatorships in Spain and Chile’ study day at the BFI. The event explored how contemporary Spanish-language films represent the lasting impact of the dictatorships of Franco in Spain and Pinochet in Chile, linking directly to themes studied in their A Level.
