Meet the Author: A visit from Vicky Holmes

Our Drama Studio was filled with more than 160 Year 5 pupils from Sheringdale, Southmead and St Michael’s primary schools, who visited Saint Cecilia’s to meet best-selling author Vicky Holmes, also known as Erin Hunter. Vicky spoke about her books, explained why she writes under different names and answered some fantastic questions. Everyone received a signed bookmark to take home.

In the afternoon, a group of Year 7 pupils, along with a few keen ‘Warriors’ fans from other year groups, took part in creative writing challenges and received expert feedback from Vicky. She also shared insights into her career as an author!
