Inspired by Hokusai

Taking inspiration from the work of Japanese artist Hokusai, Thomas H (Year 11) explored the artist’s landscapes before taking a series of panoramic photographs and using a reduction lino print technique to mirror the effect of Hokusai’s woodblock prints. This is a complex process, and Thomas executed it with great thought and precision, creating some beautiful outcomes.
