Grand Finalist at the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge

Josiah O in Year 10 recently took part in the Grand Final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge at the Cambridge Theatre, delivering his speech entitled ‘Something Doesn't Add Up’. Reaching the Grand Final is an outstanding achievement, particularly in a competition that saw more than 35,000 students from 500 schools take part. Josiah is the first pupil from our school to progress to this stage of the competition.

On the night, Josiah competed against some of the strongest young speakers and, while he was not placed in the top four finalists, making it all the way to the Grand Final is a remarkable accomplishment in itself. A huge well done to Josiah on this fantastic achievement!
