Evening at the Theatre

Our GCSE and A Level Drama pupils and students enjoyed a fantastic evening at the Lyric Hammersmith where they watched a performance of ‘Fences’.

Experiencing live theatre is an important part of studying Drama, giving students the opportunity to analyse and evaluate professional productions while inspiring ideas for their own performances. ‘Fences’ provided an excellent example of naturalistic acting, captivating the audience through its powerful performances and complex dialogue. The production proved a real hit with our pupils and students, with many becoming deeply invested in the story, right to its emotional conclusion.
