Chinese Cookery Workshop Inspires Year 8 and 9 Pupils 

Thanks to the generous support of the Friends of Saint Cecilia’s, a group of enthusiastic Year 8 and Year 9 pupils took part in a Chinese Cookery Workshop delivered by the Healthy Chinese Cuisine Ambassadors. During the workshop, pupils were introduced to elements of Chinese culture, food traditions and culinary techniques then rolled up their sleeves to prepare hoisin chicken with crunchy vegetables. Pupils learnt how to debone chicken thighs safely, prepare vegetables with precision and create attractive garnishes to elevate their final plates.
