Artists of the Week

A plethora of Pop Art pillows from Year 8! Last term, Year 8 studied Pop Art, in particular the comic strip series by Roy Lichtenstein and used their research to inform their final pieces. Year 8 designed their artwork then transferred it onto fabric before sewing together and stuffing. Design elements included Ben Day dots, primary colours, speech bubbles and fonts creating some very strong final pieces.
