Amazing Bakes

Our annual Bake Off was a fantastic success, showcasing the creativity and talent of pupils and students across all year groups. The standard this year was extremely high, giving our judges a tough task in choosing winners.

Taking 1st place was Talia B (Sixth Form, Ives), whose lemon cake impressed with its fresh flavour and balance. 2nd place went to Ariadne R (Sixth Form, Newton) for a Neapolitan ice cream-inspired cake that was both delicious and beautifully presented. In 3rd place, we had a joint win from Maddie S and Lilli G (Year 8, Schubert) for their piano-shaped cake with a surprise inside, and from Anwen L (Year 8, Carter) for her orange-frosted creation full of flavour and flair. 4th place was awarded to Joshua A (Year 7, Turing) for his green-themed bake celebrating house colours, while 5th place went to Hannah C and Kitty E (Archimedes) for their striking purple house-themed cake with a rich interior.
