If neither the student nor a parent is available to collect the results, students can arrange for another adult to collect them – please let the school know in advance the name of that person.

New GCSE grading system
New English Language, English Literature and Mathematics GCSE courses have now begun and they will now be assessed differently with pupils achieving grades 9-1 rather than A*-G. Other subjects will use the new grades from 2018.
A good pass will now be considered to be a grade 5 and pupils who do not achieve this in English and Mathematics will have to retake the examination until they do, although for the first year, the government will consider a good pass to be grade 4.
Approximately the same proportion of pupils who currently achieve:
• grade A or higher will receive a grade 7 or higher
• grade C or higher will receive a grade 4 or higher.
The school is making a gradual change towards the new grades and until this is complete you will see both old letter grades and new numerical grades on reports.
