Update on IT Network Shutdown

UPDATED THURSDAY 18TH APRIL AT 12:00PM

As mentioned in the letter sent to our school community on Wednesday 17th April, during the Easter holidays Saint Cecilia’s was the target of an organised ransomware attack, which affected our server and central Management Information System. Notices:

  • Children were sent home with an Emergency Contact Form (unless they completed these in school) which must be fully completed and returned to their mentor or to Reception as soon as possible.

  • Year 9 Consultation Discussions as part of our preference exercise will go ahead tonight, Thursday 18th April, in school as planned.

  • Both GCSE Art and GCSE Textiles examinations will take place next week on Tuesday 23rd April and Wednesday 24th April.

  • Our significant IT problems continue to affect our phone and email systems. We hope to resolve the issues as soon as possible and we thank you for your continued patience.
